PR & Marketing Executive (f/m/d)

This is how you can make an impact

  • Responsible for the organisation of all press trips to Austria (including story pitching, entering into a personal dialogue with relevant contacts and showing a presence on specialist platforms)
  • Media monitoring and answering enquiries from the media
  • Responsible for keeping the media newsroom up-to-date
  • Working as part of international project teams to research stories on key themes and create content for media relevant channels, adapting (translating and rewriting) it to suit target group and market
  • Support with event organisation and marketing campaigns where relevant

This is how you impress us

  • Degree in communications, PR, journalism or tourism marketing
  • Excellent spoken and written English and basic knowledge of German
  • Passion for communication, interest in socially relevant topics and understanding of editorial work
  • Knowledge of the British media landscape in its digital and analogue variety and open to new and future developments
  • Existing knowledge or keen to continuously expand and share knowledge of the following areas:
    – Austria and its tourism offers, products and destinations
    – Trends and local developments, especially in regards to socially relevant topics
    – Relevance and appeal of different content and formats across various channels

The average salary for this position starts at an annual gross salary of GBP 17.000,00 based on half-time employment. Depending on specific qualifications and experience, there is the possibility for overpayment
