To achieve our ambition, we are seeking passionate talents to join our Team in New York for the position of
Project Manager Travel Trade Relations
How you will contribute
- Develop marketing and communication strategies for the U.S. based travel industry, primarily leading consortia and travel agency networks in the luxury leisure segment
- You are responsible for building and maintaining a robust network of travel leaders and familiarize them with what Austria has to offer
- You will develop and implement digital communication campaigns and educational programs, and organize familiarization trips to Austria
- You will represent the interests of Austria Tourism at travel trade events and marketplaces
- Coordinating these efforts with leading partners in Austria is essential. Thus, you will be responsible to oversee the day-to-day implementation of partnership campaigns, including budget monitoring and campaign reporting
- You will take the lead in developing a global center of competence and will further the strategic approach to travel trade relations with colleagues in our network across the globe
Who are we looking for?
- You have a degree in tourism marketing /management or communications
- Knowledge of the US Travel distribution system and network greatly preferred
- You have strong communication, project management and organizational skills
- You are passionate, innovative and excel in a creative team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and design software
- Proficiency to communicate in German

This is an unlimited, at will, full-time position under New York State law. The yearly salary range for this position is $52.000 – $68.000. We offer a generous benefit package, including comprehensive health insurance, 401K options and four-weeks paid vacation.
